Meet our cute dogs!

At BreederOfTheValley Breeder, we are dedicated to breeding healthy and happy puppies. Our breeding program focuses on genetic health, temperament, and conformation to the breed standard. We take pride in our work and strive to produce puppies that will be a perfect fit for your family. 

 Our dogs come from the Des Deuxrives kennel in Quebec. Our mentor, Luc Charron, has over 30 years of experience in breeding and dog training. We are proud to call Luc a friend, and he has taught us the most important aspects of breeding French Spaniels. Luc’s dogs have won several conformation competitions, showcasing the excellence of this family line. 

Luna is our first French Spaniel, and her parents are competition-winning dogs. In 2023, Luna ranked among the top ten French Spaniels in conformation. She is a pedigree dog and has produced three litters, with 10, 11, and 9 healthy puppies. Luna has now been retired from breeding. Energetic and in excellent health, Luna Trousieme Des Deuxrives has been tested for 255 genetic diseases and is not at risk for Acral Mutilation Syndrome. Having retired from breeding, she will now enjoy her life as a beloved family companion.

Happy is the first puppy from our own kennel. She is a joyful, funny, and energetic dog who loves working with people. In the summer of 2024, she began her agility training. Her DNA testing in 2023 confirmed she is free of genetic diseases, and her elbow and hip exams in 2024 returned good results. All of her health tests are registered with OFA, and we can provide copies of the certificates. Happy will be our next dam.

We put a great deal of effort into our breeding program, dedicating ourselves to bringing healthy puppies into the world and ensuring each one finds a loving family. Our policy requires that every dam and sire undergo genetic health testing, as well as obtain OFA hip and elbow certification. This guarantees the health of our puppies. We keep the puppies with their mother until they are 8 weeks old, allowing her to teach them proper social skills. We also introduce the puppies to our other dogs. At 6 weeks, we conduct a behavioral test to help match each puppy with the right family. 

 Our puppies are exposed to various sounds, new environments, water, and plenty of toys to help them develop confident personalities and high intelligence. To assist our customers with training, we offer a promotion through our training partner, Dana Patcas of k9connected.com. We stay in touch with our buyers and love receiving updates about our puppies after they leave us, providing support whenever needed.
